9 “This, then, is how you should pray:
“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from the evil one.’
Prayer is our personal dialogues with The Almighty God, The Creator and All Knowing Father. When we pray we boldly come to a Father who loves us with our requests, thoughts, complaints, praise reports and whatever else we have on our minds and in our hearts. Prayer is fellowship with a loving Father. Moments of solitude and introspection with the One who loves us more than anyone else ever would. We pray because we are loved. W e pray because the Listener is attentive, willing to respond and delights in us. It is a privilege to pray
Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior Who is God having taken on the form of a man for the salvation and redemption f humanity, spent time in prayer. If Him being God, prayed, how much more should we? How much more do we need to pray?
The Upper Prayer Room is a community of people dedicated to praying. We are watched that constantly tarry before Our Father.
Isaiah 62:6, "On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen;
they will never be silent day or night.
You who call on the LORD
shall take no rest for yourselves,
nor give Him any rest
until He establishes Jerusalem
and makes her the praise of the earth.
